Fitness and sports have been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember. My passion for being physically active and in a team atmosphere led me to play soccer, lacrosse and cheer competitively all throughout high school. I continued to pursue my love for the game of lacrosse, playing four years at the Division II collegiate level, making two NCAA semi-final game appearances for Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. I graduated from Lock Haven University with a degree in Fitness Management and started my career as a sports performance coach at Velocity Sports Performance. I then decided to continue my education and earn a second degree in Health and Physical Education from William Paterson University. I am now teaching Health and PE at Readington Middle School and enjoy coaching Volleyball, Lacrosse and coordinating the fitness program.Becoming a teacher was definitely what I had always imagined I would do, however, after graduating and beginning this new chapter in my life, I still felt like something was missing. I had identified myself as an athlete for so long that I developed this huge void in my life when my athletic career ended. Once I found Crossfit in 2015, that void was immediately fulfilled. The community made me feel as if I was part of a team again and gave me so many reasons to enjoy training and competing in Crossfit. Then, in 2017, things came around full circle and I started Coaching Crossfit. I’m honored to be able to share my passion for sports and fitness with others. I love helping people achieve their goals and I hope I can inspire them to dream big and never stop believing in themselves.
