On the 13th day of December Coach Awesome said to me...
(it kind of works… right?)
It’s the last month of the year Chester!
It’s a month filled with family, traditions, snuggling, comfort foods, trips to here and there and endless PARRRRTAYS! It’s also the month before we all make our New Years Resolutions. Sometimes we let loose in December and put off making any changes until the New Year hits. “Starting January 1st I’m: giving up ____, starting ____, changing my ____”. So, instead of waiting, let’s use December as a month of growth and change to prepare for the new year.
For the rest of this month we here at Strong Together Chester want you to begin implementing these 12 daily habits. If you do this, it will set you up to sustain any new goals that may arise in the new year. Write them down. Stick them on your fridge. Put a reminder in your phone every day to drink more water. Set your alarm clock to a positive song of affirmation…. whatever you do, start now! You’ll be less overwhelmed in the New Year and will be able to focus on one thing at a time.
1. Drink more water.
2. Be happy where you are.
3. Strive for progress.
4. Eat a vegetable each day.
5. Eat a fruit each day.
6. Give yourself a daily compliment.
7. Break a sweat each day.
8. Take the stairs when possible.
9. Log your workouts in Beyond the Whiteboard.
10. Only speak positively to yourself.
11. Inhale deeply when outside.
12. Each morning make a plan to eat right.
